The cooked Gamers were established in 2003 after the release of HALO for PC. cG quickly rose to the top and was recognized as one of the best HALO PC teams in the world. cG proved their worth after finishing second at the CPL’s 2004 Halo World Championships. They were the hardest working team at the tournament. After losing the first game, they won more games in a row than any other team until running out of steam in the finals. The cG HALO team was regarded as the best shooting HALO PC team in competitive play and its players are still spoofed in the online HALO gaming world.

The cooked Gamers took a break after HALO PC become less popular. However, our gamers have gone on to future their video gaming careers.

Zyos went off to play HALO 2 and become one of the best players in the world. Major League Gaming said that Zyos was "the face of our league". synide is the Director of Media at Major League Gaming, a multimillion dollar company. He also got a "bot" named after him in the video game Shadowrun. rapture was invited to test video games by Microsoft Game Studios and is now a part of their Core Tester program. rapture interviewed by Newsweek due to his writings on the technology and video game industry. His writing are occasionally referenced in major online media like USA Today, MSNBC, Kotaku, Joystiq, and other related outlets. All members of the 2003-2004 cooked Gamer squad have or are persuing college degrees.

The cooked Gamers have been revived are now gaming in CALeague.com’s Counter-strike Source and Shadowrun divisions. Stay tuned for more news about our success in these games and other leagues.
