The cooked Gamers were the top seed at MLG Chicago but ran into trouble this weekend after they met up with the eventual runners-up early in bracket play. After losing to PURE, cG was sent to the loser’s bracket and ran out of steam.

With their finish, the cooked Gamers earned Semi-Pro status at MLG events which will come in handy at next month’s Orlando event. Pro HALO 2 team Final Boss won the Shadowrun event as well as the HALO 2 event.

The cooked Gamers are the top seed in Major League Gaming’s online Shadowrun tournament. The cooked Gamers went undefeated in online pool play and were awarded the top seed in the tournament for having lost the fewest rounds during their matches.

cG has now entered into bracket play and has won their first round match over Rez 2 Rise (2-0). cG advances to the second round and will meet up with xXx Vexed xXx on August 8th.

The cooked Gamers will attend Shadowrun’s first LAN tournament in Chicago next week from August 17-19. MLG Chicago will play host to two regular season tournaments before ending the season with a National Championship later in the year.
